History
|
| The Center of Miltenberg-Cambodia (CMC) has been established on March 09, 2003 and registered by the Interior Ministry of the Kingdom of Cambodia as local non-government organization (NGO) on May 23, 2003, having the registration's number No. 477 Sar-Chor-Nae (Khmer Language).
Although CMC has been founded on the middle year 2003, but since the beginning of 2001 the founders of CMC effort to find the funds from Germany, in particular the funds from the German people living in Moenchberg and Elsendfeld Commune of Miltenberg District, to help the rural people of Cambodia.
The funds donated by these German People have been used to renovate the kindergarten, to give the salary of the kindergarten's teachers and to build up the playground as well to purchase the toys for the school and the kindergarten in Koh Dach Commune. In particular, the funds have been also granted to the poor Communities and the schools of this Commune to build up the drilling wells and the water reservoir and supported the Health Center of the Commune in order to buy the medical materials.
Base on the activities described above the CMC will continue these activities and will improve and extend these activities into the other Communes of the Country in order to participate in reducing the poverty of the rural people of Cambodia and in improving the household economic of those people. |

Institutional Phylosophy |
The philosophy of CMC for its programs in Cambodia is an organization directly to improve the household economic of the rural people of Cambodia and to reduce the dualism-economic structure of the Country.
Program Goals and Objectives
Base on the own philosophy the long-term goals of CMC are the reduction of the economical dualist structure in our target area. These goals mean that overall programs of CMC emphasize to reduce the poverty of the poor and poorest people of Cambodia in CMC's target area and to improve those household economics.
CMC concern itself with the people who are at or who are close to the button of the poverty scale in the CMC's target area, those people shall improve its household economic in order to participate whether as passive or active people in the socio-economic of their Country. Therefore, in a short and median time CMC will focus its attention to work directly for reducing of the household expenditure and for improving of the household incomes of CMC's Beneficiaries.
In order to reach these goals CMC has and carry out 4 programs which concerning to the charity, to improve the health system of the Communities, to support the education of the Communities, in particular to support the school system for the children and the poor students, and to promote the small and medien enterprise (SME) or family businesses in the Communities.
